This design embodies all current contemporary design thinking, the use of the one space living area seamlessy performing many different functions, blended to form the total ultimate family living area. Moving from the working kitchen and breakfast area to the informal dining and into the media area containing Audio Visual equipment and furniture, and on beyond clear glass panels into the pool and Spa area. The perfect family and entertaining space.
This Milano kitchen was manufactured in solid Parapan door & drawer panels for a Design company in Leeds, the brief was that the quality was to be was second to none, we met our brief. We also manufactured a matching curved ceiling panel to mirror the wonderful curves of the island & accept downlights. Wood elements were solid Iroko set into the curves of the island and used to frame the high gloss panels.
This Milano kitchen features a walk way through the furniture into the concealed utility.
This design incorporates a set of three mirrors designed to visually take away the solid supporting wall which had to be left in position to hold up the steel required when forming the new kitchen area. Note.Sometimes solving a design problem can produce something of great value to the concept.
The marriage of American Black Walnut and solid high gloss cream doors, stainless steel, granite and glass panel work, take this split level design to the edge of contemporary thinking.
Design Note
The main cooking element here is the frameless induction black hob, almost invisible against the granite work surface.
Sitting in a grand Victorian house this Milano kitchen provides almost a holiday retreat with its full wall bi fold doors system allowing full access to the garden area and excellent light levels which are further enhanced by the use of high gloss Parapan doors.The perfect place to entertain.
