Within our studio we will guide you through our unique process of designing and creating your furniture. We employ an extensive library of sample materials and images to help you form your perfect kitchen or interior. At every stage of design you will have total control and input, and only when you are totally happy will we start to manufacture your furniture.
Handmade In Our Workshops
Employing a team of highly skilled craftspeople, some of whom have been with Acanthus all their working life, our workshop has the ability to create our exacting designs from the raw solid materials to the sophisticated final product. We are proud to welcome visitors to our workshops to see first hand our team in action. A prior appointment is always advisable.
Visit Our Informal Showroom
The elegant Acanthus kitchen and interiors studio is situated in the heart of Liverpool’s docklands. Convenient and informal in our approach please feel free to call for a personal invitation to tour the workshops and studio, and see first hand the Acanthus difference.
Sourcing of Materials
The materials used by Acanthus will come from all over the world and will always be personally selected by Ron or Bob for their suitability and quality if any item no matter how small is not up to the Acanthus standard, it will not find its way to our workshops. During our manufacturing process Bob McKenna will personally identify and reference every piece part to be used in the production of your furniture and instruct our craftspeople in all their selections. An average bespoke kitchen contains in excess of 5000 pieces.
Planning Space
Planning any space is about the marriage of form and function, the criteria for the latter will come from your brief to us. Taking account of yourhome, lifestyle and personal tastes our designers will create a scheme unique to you. Acanthus can bring your ideas to reality, displaying style and elegance unsurpassed.
Style and Beauty
Style and beauty is about knowledge, experience and passion, and identifying what gives you individual pleasure in a particular style or material. This may be Arts and Crafts, Art Deco, Neo Classical, English Traditional or European Contemporary, etc… Over a coffee in our studios Acanthus can guide you to identify your style.
